Tim said that the engine used to have a totally different ECM/management system (megasquirt?) and is currently down at least 20hp.

    But that's all kinda hearsay

I do have a receipt for an m42 made out to Kevin Doyle in my folder though...
hah, that motor has been AROUND.

My friend Ben bought Kevin's old 318iS, drove it for a year or two and then sold it to someone who I think crashed it on a test drive with a prospective buyer. I think they parted it out on here.

Hahaha I think Tim may have been that prospective buyer, I can't remember if he said he was riding while it was crashed or if he had ridden in the car like the day before.

Really? That sucks, I was looking at some of the internetships here at UW stout for this summer. Its a stretch as a freshman but still worth looking at.

there were a couple interesting ones like Cisco Meraki and Jamf.

Meraki is an absolutely awful place to work, they're hemorrhaging employees. I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot clown pole.

Yeah I'd never work there, but an acquaintance had a decent internship there it sounds like.

Thats why I called it "interesting".

"Everyone is quitting all around me, but they've giving me some money" = "interesting"

I guess I've been misusing the word.

If you're a student going for an internship sometimes that means you get paid even more, since you're hourly. I know when people were working for my old firm as interns they loved busy season because 60+ hour weeks meant they were making the take home pay of people that had been at the company for 5+ years, and it was to do some really menial shit because they were interns.

So it may well be 'interesting' there.

Just stay away from vector marketing, southeastern international, and anything that has the word 'entrepreneurship' in it.
