Anybody know if e36 fuse holders will work in e30?
I'm contemplating ordering an oem e36 heated seat wiring harness to go with my e36 vaders and oem vader Heat pads... Or I order the harness and wire it into something else, but it would be cool if I could do it the oem way...
Edit: the oem way to retrofit the e36 harness involves taking apart the fuse and relay box to add in the fuse in the box so it's like it came that at from factory.-Christian

You can use any aftermarket fuse holder you want - just be weary that you dealing with a item that could set your car on fire if something goes wrong. And a fuse won't protect you from the circuit going haywire. I wouldn't trust that job is a stereo installer kinda of guy - find a buddy that know about car electronics? Heck, I want to install heated seat into my car, but I wouldn't do it with out 2 or even 4 safety systems in place. Like 2 relays (incase one gets spot welded) and a thermo cut off. One being electrical, and another a thermal fuse or something.Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?

Only part I'm not looking forward to is installing the mats in my seats
