Is he keeping the sequential set up? or is he going big single?

Maston and I got his Aristo 2JZ-GTE swapped IS300 on the road a few months ago, and we kept the Sequential. It's kinda been a pain in the ass, but when it's working, it's fun as fuck.

Point of advice, if he's keeping the sequential setup, tell him to take the turbos and send them out the be "Disco potato'd." (GT28 ) I guess it's a pretty big jump in reliability, and a a respectable jump in power.

He's going giant single. The turbo he has already is big, so he'll have plenty of fun with that.

We were originally going to go with a big single also, but we hadn't heard of anyone else keeping the sequential intact, so we decided to keep it.

The biggest pain in the ass with keeping it, was building a system where we kept both ECUs, One runs all the IS300 body systems, and gauges, the entire motor and transmission systems are run by the original Aristo ECU.

2JZs are a shit ton of fun, I actually considered doing one in my E30, before I got my M60.
