You guys are noobs, its the 3.0 HG that goes bad constantly.

Worth pointing out E30 headgaskets arnt really reliable either, most E30s ive owned have all eventually leaked from the front passenger corner of head/block connection.

Yeah...really don't think you're in the position to be calling anyone a noob lol

Also, if you haven't owned 22RE long term, you can't speak for that either. Kthx

This is common knowledge in most automotive circles.

I'm in the middle of a head gasket on a 22r, super fucking cake compared to the Volvo 5cylinder turbo v70 I did earlier this week, the biggest waffleswaffleswaffleswaffles on the 22r is those bolts on the back of the head for the EGR and water pipe. I had the head off in about 1-2 hours

Haven't done any 3.0s yet, but not looking forward to it.

The amount of spam bots in the PNW Subforum is too damn high. We need a resident mod in here just cleaning up all the BS.

...I dunno - finding someone who spends a lot of time on R3V from this area might be hard. This site doesn't really have the presence here.

I'm working on fitting some e46 sport seats into my E30 and am needing the seat belt attachments shortened. If anyone in the PNW is able to quickly weld them back together please let me know! Probably wouldn't take more than a couple minutes and I would be happy to pay you in parts or cash:

                                Thanks guys.
