Sorry bro, it looks like a really nice place. But IMHO, the further I am from seattle, the better.

            Not for long!

We bought a house in spring last year in unincorporated Snohomish and we've been renting the condo out for about a year. We came within about a thousand bucks of breaking even between the mortgage and HOA but with the market the way that it is there's just no reason to fuss with it anymore.

And I could buy a Ferrari with the profits since we purchased in early 2015, which is also pants on head crazy.

Oh and also that $460/mo was apparently not enough to cover some repairs that are happening this spring so there's another $8400 tacked on this year. So yea we're pretty done with it.

Fuck HOAs man lol. That's a bunch of bs. Snohomish is the place to go, the housing market up there is bound to blow up soon enough, it's one of the fastest growing counties in the nation currently. And it must be far more fun beating around on the roafs up there. My grandparents live up on Lake Stevens and I make a point of finding a new twisty road every time I'm up there.

Don't I know it. We're just sitting here waiting for an offer, technology isn't making it any easier because now I can see exactly how many people have viewed and toured it.

I haven't tried selling a house (well, I guess you could live in an E34 touring..) do you get the same wafflers like anything else "what's your bottom dollar price?" Or the ever classic, "what's the lowest you'll go?"

It's a lot more professional than that honestly because everything goes through agents so the buyer and seller rarely actually even meet, and extending an offer is a contractual obligation (with a variety of options, for sure, but a lot more legal ramifications than shooting someone on CL a text). I've never met someone I bought or sold property to, which is weird at first but you get used to it.

It's also a lot more biased towards sellers in this market. Our house in North Carolina sat for ~3 months before we got an offer, but here it's pretty expected that things will go quickly. We are intentionally priced on the high end because I'd rather sit on it and bring the price down if it doesn't move than to sell instantly and feel like I left money on the table.

And yea Hank SnoCo is great.

This house cost less than the condo and we have an actual yard, no HOA, and it's not in a house farm with a bunch of the same shity with 'quirky' exterior changes to make it less depressing that you and all of your neighbors are going to be stuck in the same house forever. And I have room for guests to park.

Anyone have a spare front caliper assembly with the bolts? Used brake pads would be good too. On my way to work today it somehow worked it's way loose. So I'll be driving around without brakes until I can get it fixed.

(Delivered to u district preferred lol, but I could drive without brakes to you I guess)

Derp. I crawled under my car and it looks like it's actually the two caliper guide bolt? That came apart somehow
