                                How bad is a salvage title for an e30, value-wise?

                                I'm looking at a car that the current owner had insurance repaired after it was broken into, which totaled the car. How much should I expect this to affect the resale value? Is there any value in getting the paperwork surrounding the incident to show proof?

                                                        I think if you have some good photo proof about what damage was done and how it was repaired most buyers are fine. Paperwork is also a big plus IMO
