I do have a thread but haven't updated it in a while. Just haven't had the time or cash until recently. But also the direction has changed a bit and it's no longer named Lily lol

Well after not having the time, money, energy, equipment, parts, etc etc, to fix my e30 that was rear ended in July 2019, a friend and I finally started the body work to replace the rear tail panel.



Gotta say, it kinda hurt my soul to cut into her like that, but I know it's one of those "has to get worse before it gets better" situations. Now I am on a quest to find a new / good condition, late-model, US-spec tail panel. Made a WTB post and immediately got messages from scammers lol

Once the panel is in and painted as best as possible, she'll be put back together to daily until I have an alternate drivable car, and the space and time for her to be a dedicated project. Since owning the car, I've not been able to drive it for longer than I have driven it, which is... depressing. Oh well, hopefully things will improve! Anyway, that's all for now.

Hello! Let's liven up this place a bit. Who's working on what lately?

Nothing exciting here. Just basic maintenance tasks keeping me busy. The goal is to drive it as much as I can. It’s my first E30, so lots of little stuff to learn.

Prepping to hit a few events this spring/summer and just generally cruise around.





Might work on making some more composite parts to lighten this thing up. That'll make the N52 swap feel better.

I keep my build thread updated when it's relevant. I guess sometimes I forget no one can see that I check my unread threads link most days.
