How am I supposed to learn if everybody discourages me??

People discourage you because they are sick of the same old thing.

Step 1: Ask question
Step 2: Read response of someone nice enough to try and help.
Step 3: Remind respondent that you know everything and that they are wrong
Step 4: Continue asking same question until someone agrees with you.

It's the same thing everytime. People will be more willing to help if you're more willing to learn (which means keep your mouth shut). I'm sure you could handle a motor build as really it's not THAT hard, the machinist can walk you through the tough bits. 10:1 in M20 is gonna be $$$
