I do. After all this car has been through, it's total bullshit to salvage it over something so fucking minor. There is zero structural damage from this. Why would I want to spend another $10-$15k on a salvage title car? Doesn't make sense to me.

Just take great pictures of the current damage and later document the repair process. That sort of evidence will circumvent the negative association with a salvage/rebuilt title. If you're going to invest 15k you would probably document it just as well anyways.

Salvage Titles on old cars such as these just happen. Yes, many people are afraid of them but if the repair is done properly who cars.

Its easy to do several thousands of dollars worth of damage to a 3000 dollar car, bingo total! (using 3000 as a random number) Hell just a front bumper, radiator, condenser, etc with ZERO frame damage would total an E30.

May have to shell out for an appraisal. As it is her company that is fitting the bill that works in your favor. If it was yours you would have to have been insured for stated value with documentation before the incident. Since it is her insurance you can usually get an appraisal after the fact. Anything at 6-8k should make you safe.

clean interior, low miles! dont' know how he got that 7" popout screen to work without clipping the stalks. I couldn't find one that would fit back in the day.
