^ Lol.
I prefer the AWD of Subaru because it's straight cut 50/50 power without traction control. I have a pivoting ankle, I don't need some computer to tell me when I should or shouldn't be flooring it.-Erik

As for 4x4, I have never owned a 4x4 vehicle, but I'm sure I would like it a lot. I am actually very interested in buying a Tacoma someday. As much as I loved my Subaru I really want something with more room/towing capacity.-Erik

4wd fails anywhere you have a mix of traction surfaces and non traction. You can't safely drive on surfaces without causing serious stress on the drivetrain. For example, a slushy Seattle day. Not every street is covered in snow but you want traction when you need it. You don't want to always have to pop in and out of 4wd. That and most 4x4s here dont come with locking or even limited slip diffs standard (if even option able) which makes it utterly useless.
Also, VAGs haldex is controllable. Want to lock it into 50-50? Fine. Lock it into fwd? Be my guest. Their Torsen systems are 50-50 in previous generation A4s and now you can look at 60-40 and even up to 90-10.
Its not being a fan boy. Its just like having the right tools for the job.Originally posted by SonnyI am a meme for our community.

Anyone know a Ryan Haines or his shop Dynasport in PDX?
Evidently he's putting a 7-series v12 into a vert. I'd be curious to see a fit like that, gotta be tight.Alpha Team Inductee
