For example, a slushy Seattle day. Not every street is covered in snow but you want traction when you need it. You don't want to always have to pop in and out of 4wd.

            Your front wheels cannot be spinning at the same speed the rears are when turning. A transfer case cannot shift power front or rear. They are locked.

                    Its nice. I like it much better. Everything is tucked away. Thanks for the rec. I had the pioneer DEH-44hd so I didnt even have to swap harnesses. Now I need to get rid of the 44.
