Anyone got tips on bleeding the slave cylinder?

When the car is running I can't get it into any gear with the clutch pressed to the floor. The pedal feels squishy and stiff all at the same time. I'm going to take it off the trans and make sure the push rod is seated on the fork correctly but i'm also pretty sure I have some air in the system. I can shift through the gears with the car off, with the clutch or without.

So far i've tried Pressure bleeding with a Motive Bleeder (Thanks Brian!), Gravity bleed combined with 100+ pumps of the clutch pedal after closing the bleeder, and the Oil Can pumping BF through the bleeder up to the reservoir.

      Happy Fathers Day!

Well, got Andy's car buttoned up and back on the road yesterday. When the motor was out, we did the following:

        -reseal oil pan
        -new intake gaskets
        -new valve cover gaskets
        -new oil filter housing gasket
        -new throttle body gasket
        -new rear main seal
-new clutch, pilot bearing, pressure plate and throwout bearing
        -new gear oil for trans
        -new shift shaft seal
        -new input shaft seal
        -MarkD chip for stock M50
        -modified harness with C101 plug
        -deleted throttle body heater
-deleted charcoal canister and all other evap bullshit
-severe, severe cleaning of every surface
        -shaved/painted engine bay
-modified rear Foha apron (for better fitment)

We pulled the motor out Tuesday night and had it all back in Friday night, running 10am Saturday. Did a lot of shit in that time. All in all, not too bad.

This post would be worthless without a picture:

Did you make sure the reservoir is filled completely to the top and that the master has fluid going in it?

I didn't need any bleeder tools when I did mine. Pretty sure I just blead it like brakes. I replaced the slave like 2 years ago on the side of the road, only thing I can think that made mine so easy is that I don't have a clutch return spring.

Try cracking it and letting gravity do the work.

Don't ever injure your lower back.

Blew out a disk, and now I can't feel most of my left leg. Dammit.
