I thought about changing the color of my car (from Brilliantrot to Henna) when I got it repainted (it was a full strip, not just re-spray) but somehow the engine rebuilt and the paint timing did not work out for me. Hopefully it will work out for you!

What would you think a rough estimate would be on something like this?



Its my brothers 318is slicktop. Its all original paint but the paint has decided to vanish on the hood, tops of the fenders and roof. (clear coat peel) He'd really like to do a color change on it (including door jams, and trunk jams but no engine compartment). Or just going with the original Diamond Schwartz. Its got no body damage at all. maybe 3 small door dings tops. you can pm me if its easier. He's just trying to figure out what its gonna cost him. lol.

Got tired of craigslist flakes so I put my 77 rabbit on Ebay. Auction ends Friday. its about halfway to the reserve as of right now. *fingers crossed*

When I did my facelift I had to cut my front tow hooks off. Now that I have a euro conversion I just have holes where the tow hooks should be.

Should I weld the tow hooks back on or shave the holes in the valance?

It's his friends car. He did all the body work and then bought it.
