My girlfriend has a 2006 A4 S-Line with the 3.2 V6 that she drives every day. That thing sounds fantastic but has soooo many problems it's almost sad. She prefers her 94' 540i lol. The glove box broke, it yells at you when you turn because the E-Brake sensor is all fucked and of course the CEL lol. I wouldn't want an Audi either.. Unless it was an original Sport Quattro with the boosted inline 5.

Customer isn't buying a new engine, we're rebuilding the heads and going from there. Audi has never sold one. Not saying I would do it, but if you had the dough and you love the car, why the fuck not?

How long does it take to get that front piece off? tbh this seems like a better way to have great access to the engine rather than leaning over the front, trying to find room between the engine and radiators.

Well ALLDATA usually calls for an hour to get into that position as well as another to get it all back together at the end. Don't get me wrong, after you're at that point it's all there but still. What if all you need to do is a belt? Adds to that whole, "welp, while you're in there.." mentality.

My buddy had a b5 S4 and he got to the point where he could take the front off it like that in about 15 mins Think he had to do it at least 5 times in a year... AMAZING car but when it broke...

I still want one. Do a 2.9L build with some big turbos on e85

Audi r&r alternator quoted at 32 hours. Need to removed complete interior and body harness.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was real. I fucking loathe anything made by VW.

This. I work at a small parts house that does mostly VW stuff. It amazes me how much garbage that company produces....but, nooooo, BMWs are giant pieces of shit

My girlfriend has an 08' A3 2.0T, fun car to drive. I can't stand working on it. It kept throwing a CEL for a coolant performance problem. Found that it had a bad thermostat. Easy, right? Fuck no, quoted at 4 hours and the timing belt had to be removed. Whata joke.

I didn't have the patience to deal with it. Took it to a friend's VW shop to have him do it.

I was joking. I wouldn't be suprised though if that was real for the like an A8 or a R8.

Edit: just for shits n giggles I looked up time on an Alternator for 2012 A8 with the V8: 8 hours Lulz
