Yes they are, with light rash. And yes its been there with it cracked open, but the floor isn't soggy wet, but you can see small signs of wind driven rain getting insideComment

So after playing for a few hours with my headlights this is what I got to:
As you can see I've gotten passengers side pretty much nailed down. That's about 15 feet away from a wall. Even though the bulb temperature is obviously not 5k I like the color better then the 5k bulb.
The drivers side however, has an obvious bulb seating issue, the hot spot is no where near the cutoff, and the cutoff is all curved and messy.
Shitty phone pics are shitty.
The one that bows I found a thread on HID planet that says to space the top two lens holder screws
Mine have the slightest bowing down like a frowny face, I set the passenger/high side to be level so the driver's side/lower step slopes very slightly, barely noticeable though
http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/show...-bowing-cutoff There has to be more of these threads over there. I googled "mini h1 bow" and got a bunch of hits.
This one has some fixing of issues, I think some or most of them are fixed with teh current production of projectors. These guys look like they're playing with version 1-3 and current ones are ver6.0. Mine are 6.0. One thing I know they didn't fix was the "squirrel finders" or "glare box" as the guy fixes in post 2. Mine have that but they're so high its not really an issue. If you're the really fussy kind fix it though...

I just did a retro on my truck with mini d2s3.0s and they worked beautifully out of the boxFunny enough, THe biggest reason I went d2s instead of H1 again was that I can then use OEM bulbs (like phillips or osram) instead of morimoto or other china ones if I have a problem with them
I'm currently using mori xb35 d2s bulbs though and they're fine

We're doing a manual trans swap into a E36 (97 328is) and this is the pivot pin we pulled out of the transmission we're installing...
Never seen one so worn out!
