my car is in really good running order, only problem m42 is having lately is lifter tick for up to 30seconds on cold morning starts. Im getting a spare engine to refresh soon so Im not too worried about it but it still bugs me, Im due for an oil change soon so we will see if that helps things.

being a gutted m42 car with 3.25lsd 25mpg is pretty lame... this is based off trip odo reading and gallons at the puimp too. I have a BAVREST afm in there and all other new sensors/things... all but the o2 sensor and coolant temp sensor. I remember testing the CTS and it being in spec, going to try o2 first.

I generally got around 20-22 in town with Eleanor, WOT most everywhere. The cabrio gets shit in town mileage.

See, this is why we laughed at you about the 3.25. You're not saving any money on gas and you made the car even slower.

No shit.. You are driving an E30, it's got the drag coefficient of a brick.

Just be glad you are getting double what my Saab gets in town..

My old m20 with 2.93lsd was getting 28-30 mpg and 22-24 with 3.73 . Now my s50 with 3.73 is still getting 24-26. Split freeway/ town. It's a bit too low at 3700 at 70 but I was surprised my mpg was this high. Having anything taller than 3.73 in m20 is just not worth the driving experience, specially in a 4 banger. IMO

                        15-16 mpg..

Granted that's mostly dragged down by the T-curves and getting stuck behind Washington drivers who can't find work in their own damn state.

It's not like I drive these cars for the mileage. Hell, I rarely calculate mine or even look at fuel prices. Shit costs what it costs. I'm not going to go drive 10 miles out of my way to save $.10/gallon of fuel.

It costs me like 25 bucks to fill my car up and it lasts me 2 weeks.

                                Gotta love the Honda mpg's
