Kinda like sleeping next to a supermodel that you are not allowed to touch all night.

I never saw the car up close and personal. It looked clean when it was rolling. But i can easily say you can fetch more than $6,500 for your ride, Kev. Your 318iS is stupid clean and has a TONNNNNN of goodies that fan boiz love.

So I got new door seals yesterday and put them in. The driver side seal still looks like this, even with the new one. Anyone else have this problem before? Ideas on how to get it to fit properly?

Current daily: 2003 Mitsubishi Evo (Isabelle)
Gone, but never forgotten: 2017 VW Golf R 6sp (Maria, sold)
                1989 325i 5sp (Lorelei, sold)

2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 5sp (Selena, parted out)

OEM, straight from BMW of Bellevue. The passenger seal went in perfect. The trunk seal went in perfect. Driver side... Wtf.

Yeah that's my plan. I might see if the one they got me is for a different year; I read something last night that said that late vs early models were a little different in size? Or maybe they dumbed up and got me a sedan one? I dunno. I'm baffled.

They are all the same size. 4 door would be way smaller - maybe that one just shrank. I would go to the dealer.

There's a repro door seal FS thread, look just as nice as OEM - might fit better too. :|

I might have to track that thread down if the dealer can't do anything for me.

                                take a pic zoomed out

I thought the seal only went 80% around the door and tucks under the door sill plastic
