Hmm, the quiet while cold and loud when hot makes me think its picking up a bubble somewhere. If it drips it may be be letting air in also.

Is it about 100 turns lock to lock? The first time you drive those old truck, you almost will wreck it on a corner, not realising it needs so many turns on the wheel just to get around a corner.

Continuing to put things back together on the e30 this weekend. I'm hoping to have her running by the end of the long weekend. Only thing I'll be waiting for if that goes to plan is the new exhaust hanger to come in next week. Then I can take her to an exhaust shop to finalize the exhaust. Then she's ready for a nice long cruise!

Nice man! We ran into some leak issues with the new brake lines. I'm going to try to attack that and rebleed the breaks today. I'm still waiting for a new, smaller diameter slave. Once the brakes and clutch are taken care of, I should be able to try to drive it for the first time....

haha its a hoot to drive! the steering box has alot of play, naturally, but no close calls yet! double clutching the shifts is alot of fun, I can downshift 4th to third great but third to second I cannot figure out for the life of me... grinds everytime so I just grab neutral when approaching stops. If you dont clutch in for atleast 4 seconds or so second gear will grind even from a dead stop. granny gear 1st is fun as well. Gearbox needs fluid Im guessing.

Rebuilding the carb on it tonight, apparently its one of the easier carbs to ever rebuild lol. Still have not taken any pics of the truck, though I did wash it and clean it up and it looks much better!

Well, today was full of accomplishing a whole lot of nothing. I got all my trim sprayed with matte black enamel, which is infinitely better than "bumper and trim" paint. Got the new euro headlights cleaned up and ready for wiring. And got the audio 95% sorted. I just have to figure out why the tweeters aren't working when hooked up to the proper wires. There's been a million wiring demons in this car, so its just a matter of sorting them out. But! Front, rear, and subs are all working beautifully

Nice! I got this painted and installed..

And yes, I know the end of the valance are incorrectly mounted (outside of the fender vs inside) but I fixed that today.. Just finishing up cleaning the euro bumpers and waiting for the Alpina valance to show up..

And hoping the deko set shows up in time..

Also need to address this small snag.

Plus, need to finish cleaning up the bronzit super eta so I can get that sold off..
