I've got a 100% ebay rep, already told Brad I'd help him list it. Probably the best way to make money off all that work.

I guess we could list it on there and have the issues highlighted so nothing comes back and bites me in my ass lol. I just dont wanna work/dont have the time to work on the car anymore.

Not at all. It's basically a $125 fee IF the car sells. Otherwise, list everything in great detail and collect monies.

...i'd try Bring A Trailer before eBay these days. A friend of a friend has his M5 on their right now for Auction, and in one day has a huge response.

I know it's two completely different markets car wise (original vs swapped) but they have had some decent auction results with swapped E30's in the past. And BAT usually weeds out the broke time wasters.

yea, had a friend sell an old Austin Healey, with a big block v8, super charged the lot, on ebay. he paid like 1000s in fees, because the car sold for like 35k or so

not to mention paypal has limits on withdrawels, so you can only take 2 or 3k out a month on a basic account

Successful vehicle selling fee is $125 with another $7 for setting a reserve. Biggest thing is avoiding PayPal, since you'll get dinged hard for collecting on there. I just ask for a PayPal deposit, then bank transfer or cashier's check, which you can call and verify with the bank.

If he collected through PayPal, then sure. No reason to do that IMO, bank wire transfer costs $35 or a cashier's check for $8 at most banks. If your buyer isn't willing to use those payment methods then they probably weren't a great buyer.

BaT is not a bad idea either.

Brad, your $8k price tag is pretty damn low imo. I would, as other have said, list it on BaT or fleebay so you can get more money for your hard work. Best of luck!

also if you watch wheeler dealers, they always offer a bit less then the ebay price, so jack it up a bit

so you can make low ballers , involuntarily honest

I appreciate the kind words! And only a person who has gone thru the steps will understand how much work and money it takes to get an E30 remotely close to this stage:up:
