Hey, does anyone around Portland know someone parting an '86/7 ETA? I'm in town until Saturday and would love to pull a body harness here. There's at least 20x more e30 people here than where I'm from, so hoping someone knows someone. Thankssigpic<< wreckedComment

The cutouts for the folding forward mechanism are different left to right for the coupes.
The passenger side has two, whereas the driver side only has one. The sedan ones are probably same on both sides.Originally posted by SonnyI am a meme for our community.Comment

RainRider, I don't think you'd be unhappy with either choice. I think you'd be more inclined to keep the M3 a "nice" car, to be honest - If I were in your position i'd be pretty interested in the 1. This train wreck is making for horrible traffic. My buddy said he got off 512 at 1130am and it took 6 hours to get to the roy y, and he finally got home at 1245 am. Insane.
Puget sound has the worst roads to get out of town. If there were to be a mass evacuation im not leaving unless i have dirt bikes for my family. No damn point, id rather just chug a bottle of bourbon and smoke a cigar than die in a traffic jam half a mile from my houseComment

To try something newer. The 89 and 91 are here to stay though.
Thanks, it's tough choice. Either one I'd try to keep nice.Comment

Dont get me wrong, if i could, I'd own a 1series in a heart beat. Greg and I discuss swapping in an S65 into a 1series down the road when prices drop significantly.
E46 M3 will also NOT drop very much more in value from this point forward. Hagerty has had the E46 M3 on their future classic's article 2 years in a row now as the #1 pick for a future classic. Now's the time to buy if you want to get into something awesome.
We all kick ourselves for not getting an E30 M3 5 years ago....look where we are now-Brad, AlphaTeam Motorwerks, LLC
