What do people know about collector's plates? I have found an original from 1989, figured I might snag it up while it's cheap since they're not officially qualified for classics yet.sigpic

It developed a misfire, so I decided to do the cap and rotor since the plug wires look newer. Installed them and it fired up, came back the next day and it just cranks. So I removed them and there were marks on the 6 posts, threw it back together, doubled checked that the wires were in the right spots and still nothing. I'm going to check the plug wires tonight

I have a year of manufacture plate on my project car. Registered as a collector. Pay only once for registration. Don’t even have tabs on the plate (if I remember right). Only have to have a rear plate. Limited usage is the only thing (to and from car shows, parades, the workshop, etc). There’s a chart online for the required style plate for each year.

The more I try to convince myself that a good M20 is a good diea, I see several awesome deals on 24v setups that would destroy whatever M20 I build.
also, My tabs for my 88 325i were $124, and my '68 Datsun was the same. haha I cant explain it. This is in an expensive area of the most expensive area to live in.
I also think I got another camera ticket last night for not making a complete stop on a right turnSimon
