Have you observed this failure personally? Just curious if it's a big concern....

I missed that window on the FD RX7.
Was looking at importing one from japan 10ish years ago, and would have needed a small loan to make it happen.
If I was working a few years sooner...

Prices are wild. When a base civic is 40k here in Canada, it pushes the prices of the used market way up.
That '99 Civic Hatchback I bought for $500, drove & fixed, and then sold for $2k is...

Welcome Back!
Get it running, then just don't install the carpet for 6 years like I did with my E30 until I fixed all the rust. 💀

Does the M50 & M52 use the same throttle body?
I used the E36 35411163228 for my M52B28. It fits well except that I had to take up some slack with an aftermarket cable end.
I saw...

What TLC are you giving to the M42? I see the intake manifold is off.

Do a search on which pins to jump.
I would suggest building a jumper with a fuse inline just in case. It's what I use for some extra safety even though I'm careful about making electrical...

Nice looking ride!
I passed on a red late model late last year that was local. Your post is making me wish I bought it!
