I'm just wondering if I would have to do that, in the pic below you can see the little tabs that I'm talking about. I just dont know if they are removable or can be cut
It looks a lot like the stock line shown below
Any thoughts or can someone verify the little tab things hahaComment

Yes the tabs are for clutch line. Cut one open and put the stock clutch line to it.
I already bought mine, but also ln m52 the resevoir is on way. I'm trying to find fine that is not remote one.Comment

I edited the OP to clear up some info on the e9x booster setup.

Noshow, I couldn't figure out why you had to lengthen the pin, as I did not have to on my install. But then I realized you are using the original booster rod and end. I found the length a bit too long for my car, with no free-play. A few test drives made it clear the pedal was too high, so I cut the end off, threaded, and put on the stock e30 end. This allowed some adjustment to fine tune the length to where the pedal had just enough movement before engaging. (1/4" or so). How has your install been with regard to pedal height?Comment

The pedal height was the same between the oem booster and the e9x booster. I mean exactly the same place. Is your car a airbag car? I don’t think it would make a difference but I’m curious.

I got my booster couple days ago, and noticed this. Should i be concerned? It also looks like it was opened at some point because the little tabs that hold the halfs together seem to have the paint chipped off at the bend point. Tag says “ 06 330CI” what you guys think?

Hmmmm that does look strange. Use your discretion on it. If you don’t trust I then return it and get another one.

I’m thinking it might have sat in brake fluid from when it was removed and waiting on the shelf. When i got it it was covered in brake fluid, i’m going to try it and if it’s no good, i’ll just grab another one from ebay.Comment
