Thanks Caperix…Yes, I modified the Datsun front crossmember to accommodate the stock e92 motor mounts, then fabricated steel supports on the N52 block side to position the engine properly and isolated them with 1/16” aluminum against the magnesium.

Very familiar with HybridZ, and will share my progress once I have a bit more to show….Gotta get the lions share of the electrics sorted and the car rolling under its own power, then do a nice summary of the work.

How are you guys installing the engine. I don’t have a load leveler for engine/trans package might be a challenge to drop in, although I can prob borrow one. How do you do it?

I prefer from the bottom. I attach the front subframe under the engine a lift it up.

Yeah I would prefer that also. But I don’t have a lift at home and I’m pretty sure my jack stands don’t go that high

I don't have a lift, either. The body is jacked-up in stages and supported on the frame rails high enough to roll the engine assembly under the core support. Then the body is lowered onto the engine (while it's jacked-up a bit as necessary).

I've done this single-handed a few times and it's easy.
