Also, how many miles are on your engine? May need a new cam also. I had up to .011" worn down on the tips of the lobes of my M30 cam at 240ish thousand miles.

Not sure about the M20, but the M30 head can only be disassembled out of the car.

M20 was the same, disassemble outside the car.

That rocker is on the end, you might be able to just change that one out with the head attached. But like all the other guys...upgrade to beefier rockers if you decide to pull the head.

Its at the wrong end for that.

I'm gonna remove and rebuild the head, or rebuild the head off of the 87 (parts car), but with new Febi rockers. If I have an extra $120 in addition to the $220 for Febis, I'll get IE heavy dutys. But I think the Febi ones will do fine. I'll likely have the valve guides replaced and valve seals too. I gotta see how much the machine shop wants for the works. If it's under $400 for the rockers and the head re-work and HG and bolts, I'll just have to do it I reckon.

The "while you're in there's" are starting. Timing belt…water pump…tensioner…seals…belts…gaskets…

Well, I could do it with the head attached, I'd just have to take the exhaust rocker all the way out. Boy that sounds much better than all that head work jazz. Maybe I just do that for now while I build the other head. Decisions.

The cam has to be pulled all the way out first. If it was a rocker from like cylinder 6 it would be easier and wouldn't require head removal or fancy cutting and maneuvering to get the cam to slide out with head on

200k on the car, but this is an unknown junkyard motor (out of a 1992 vert) with a head that I hand lapped the valves on and put new valve seals, but left the guides alone.

I had been wanting to do a 2.8 stroker build on the block I have on the engine stand in the shop. That's what I need to do. I replace the one bad rocker, and build the 2.8 in the shop the swap it in. 2.8 supercharged. Mmmm, that sounds nice...

Nope, the rocker shaft can come out with the cam in place. I've done it before. It comes straight out the front after the radiator and condenser are moved.

I must of missed it, but how much boost?

I have it at 6psi with the big pulley. I reckon it'll be 8-10 psi with the small 5% overdrive pulley that came with my m90.

^ no idea. When it's sitting idling in the driveway with the desktop hooked to it, it gets up to 150-160 ish. I haven't driven it with a laptop hooked so I don't know what the temps are while driving. The intercooler isn't hooked up yet (I haven't run the hose and pump electronics). I can tell that it backs the timing off when I've been beating on it, so I figure the IATemps are getting up there when I get up in it some.

150degrees at idle is insanely hot, most turbo cars start pulling a lot of timing at 120degrees(like wrx's for example).
get some meth or something in there. for example a turbo E30 at 20psi runs 120degree air at 7k WOT and close to ambient cruising.

I would get some readings of before and after for science, 150 at idle is very hot. On my old setup turbo with meth, I was at 115 F WOT, you may want to consider meth for longevity and if you can get those intake temperatures lower it means more power. If you are at 150 at idle I wouldn't be surprised to see WOT above 180 which robs hp, colder air= denser air.

EDIT: Daggit you beat me to it.
