Will that allow the AFM to be removed? Would you need a MAF?

Yes. No. When you build your megasquirt unit you'll want to use an internal or external map sensor.

          M42 turbo build.

FYI, Jake thinks the MAF setup will remove the need to run the intake pipe across the front of the engine bay.

Should Santa put a new E30 M3 under my tree tomorrow than all bets are off.

Did you ever get around to that dyno?

Tell you what, guys. There's a dyno that pops up at car shows here in town all the time. If everyone chips in to buy me a kit, I'll install it and pay for the dyno time. Come on, what do you say? Everyone wins, right??

I can't believe that anyone could strap on a turbo and not have to know what kind of power they are laying down! I have access to a dyno for less than $100. You better believe I will be laying it down right after I install my kit with the MAF setup. Would love to see a graph to compare to though...
