        Machine shop told me my timing was on point. So looks like I have to much lift and need to either Flycut the pistons or get new pistons.

          OR get a different CAM. I think the biggest CAM you can put in a stock LS1 is a 239/242

              What's the draw to such a big cam? Drivability is not going to be fun with that thing

                I've never had a high cammed car. I literally just wanted something that would be good for 40-140. I guess it'll just be another thing I learned from if it's that bad driving it in the city.

                          You guys and "omg ls with big cam is gonna be so hard to drive" it's an ls with a crapload of torque, it's drivability will be just fine in a 25-2700lb e30. The ls1 in my truck I can stick it in 1st and let the clutch out without throttle and move just fine.

                            It's all your preference. My car isn't my daily either but driving a car even for a short time with a bunch of cam surge is fucking shitty. Also your tuner can make your car wop as much as you want my 224r wops just fine. And spending all the money and time to flycut your pistons or buy new pistons when you could easily spend $300 for a cam that works that will still "wop wop" and sell that cam for probably the same amount just seems kinda asinine imho
