The LS2 water pump outlet is about 2.25" long with two beads on it. We cut off the first bead and about 1" of tube to get a better fit for the WP outlet hose to the back of the radiator.

Due to me having the wrong transmission, now I have to sell it and save money for another transmission. So I doubt I'll be updating much up here since it's gonna take me a while to have the $2,000 more or less for the next one.
I'm bummed and just wish something would go right for a change.

Don't give up man, I'm about to start a ETA/LS2 swap as well and anticipate many "hurdles" as well. You seem to have my luck. Just stay the course and all will work itself out in the end.

Keep your head up, just double check on parts before you buy and ask around. Dont give up, learn from it.

Alright everyone, did y'all miss me? How's everybody doing.
Over the past month or so i have been saving up money for another transmission. Posted my tranny for $800 firm. A guy called me and said " i don't even know if it works or not so i'm gonna give you 600." We came to the agreement and i told him okay, he drove four hours to come get it. Next day his dad called me to tell me that the transmission doesn't work.
That sucks but i can't do anything about it. It's all a risk with buying used parts. I wish i knew the guy that sold it to me for 1600 claiming it was an ls1 t56. but that's over with. I bought a 1999 e46 that i'll post a picture of with a lot of things wrong with it. I've fixed most of it and have a little bit to go. Once i sell that i'll have some more money to mess with for the swap. Look closely and let me know if y'all see anything that doesn't make sense.. [emoji854][emoji854][emoji854]

Here's a look on the inside

The white e30 i bought, i got running with all my old parts, once i get this exhaust put on, it'll be up for sale as well. Bruce as known up here as "E30Whore" who also has a build thread up here for his E30LS is a good friend of mine. Talk to him a lot since we are doing the same build and has helped me out a lot. He knows a guy who can literally find any part you want, i told him that i needed a t56 and a good one. Within ten minutes Ryan, our friend, found a t56 complete set from a 2002 f body with 40k miles for $1600. I will be picking it up on saturday or sunday in Lynchburg VA. (Another Road trip)

Since I already have a bel housing I can probably sell the other one for 200-300 bucks.
Hopefully from now will be good news. I'm sure i will hit a lot more speed bumps but hopefully it wont be as expensive as these. After i get the trans back. I will be connecting it to the motor and dropping the motor in. From there i will connect all the air lines so i'll be able to put my wheels on and have it on a trailer going to "E30Whore/Bruce's" house. We are gonna spend a weekend at his place getting the radiator mounts fixed up and getting the exhaust mounted. Trying to think of anything else i can say that has happened or will happen but for now that's all.
Here's a picture of his e30 so far.

People always ask how much I've spent or how much the swap was. Do y'all think I should do like a giant price list of everything I got then make a swap meter? Or keep going like I am.

Let me know on how I can make this thread better

Why would you do that? To constantly depress yourself? lol. The basics of the costs are plain. I think someone should make 1 general pricing sheet with several outcomes. Super sexy price sheet vs middle of the road vs penny pincher. The finishing nickle and diming isn't necessary since that varies greatly and should already be expected.

                                Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!
