215/45 would be unwise then? I wouldn't mind *slightly* longer gearing.
You can pull it off in the back, but for the front I wouldn't recommend it.

Bigger as in width? 215/40 and 215/45 will work, you just need to roll the fenders.

Have a 17x8 and 17x9 set up, et20 and et19, respectively. On e30m3 suspension so basically the same as reg non-m set up if I'm not mistaken.

Little to no stretch is best. The less stretch the better, the more tire the better. Will probably end up some track time on this set up too. Full coils/koni/gc plates suspension. What can I fit under my late model?

Been searching and have some thoughts, but want to see if yours match up.

        Thanks.
You're not fitting 17x9 et19s on the back without stretched tires and/or pulled fenders, in my opinion. If you want to avoid stretch you're looking at a 235/40 or 245/35, and either will most likely rub even with flatly rolled fenders. I've witnessed a FLAT roll on an '87 (early arches), 17x8 et20 with 235/40/17 tires...it rubbed very frequently. Your setup is even more aggressive, with less forgiving arches. Not a chance man.

The K1 that tire rack sells(I think they bought the cash or remade them or something) are ET38 and 15x7.

How much spacer would I need to mount 225.50.15 on them? My old Fittipaldi 5 Spokes were 15x7 ET20 and that fits the 225s perfectly. So running a 20mm spacer all around sounds like the best option if I choose to go that route?

Potentially may just go with the TR Motorsports 15x8 wheel as it would be an easier fitment and much cheaper without having to buy all the spacers.

12-15mm is perfect. The old E30 fitment K1s were actually +27.

The TR Motorsport 15x8 et20 will bolt on and run 225.50.15 right off the bat correct?

16x8 +25 will this fit without issues?

uh oh. May have just made an expensive mistake. Also, I was thinking 225/35 or 225/40's for the front 17x8 but doesn't look like there are too many options there in a high performance summer tire.

Lastly, if et19 is just plain too much - milling the inside of the wheel-to-hub surface a few mm's a bad idea?

edit: Decided on 215/40 and 235/40 for the 17x8/9 combo. Correct me if that sounds wrong.

                    17x7.5 et 35

What is the biggest tire I can run on my lowered e30 without having to pull fenders? My fenders are rolled in the back but not in the front. What size spacer will I need?

                    Thanks,
                    Jeff

The rear lips would have to be rolled completely flat, and even then, it'll be close. Super aggressive.

Too close for comfort on the front. 3mm spacers and stock bolts will do the trick.

Milling is perfectly fine, just make sure you measure caliper clearance and the like (obviously). You can safely shave off up to 10mm without running out of space towards the trailing arm.

                          Tire sizes sound good.

235/40/17. 10mm hubcentric spacers would be perfect.

Are there any decent 235/40/17s to be had for under $130 a pop?

                              EDIT- Found a bunch - http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...35&ar=40&rd=17

Yup, lots of great choices. The FK452 is a good value there.
