16x7, et-1 and 16x8 et-14. Pulled front fenders, aggressive roll on the rears. Should I go 205/50 fronts, 225/50 rears or would I be safer going 205 all around? Thanks!

Isn't the issue how cold can it get before your car slides into a lamppost the first time mother nature thinks about non-liquid water (like frost)?

Truth. S-Drives are horrible for cold weather.

                    Fitment and tires question:

I am buying some Borbet BS that are 16x7.5 et 35. (What tires can be run and are some sizes usually cheaper than others?)

I currently have some 10mm hubcentric spacers but the hub diameter is for bigger size like honda, etc.

I was planning on having the raised lip of the spacers ground off and just use them as 10mm non hubcentric spacers. (Is that safe and ok?)

Car is stock height but I am installing an M50 which will probably drop my front end a bit due to the added weight but if it is not enough I will go to lowering springs or those jom coilovers. (Will that affect my tire choices?)

Sorry for all the questions but I appreciate any help.

Hey guys, i've been back and forth between what kind of wheels to get after the swap is done. I just sold the esm reps (no more reps ) which were a square 16x9 et 10 215/40/16 setup. I felt the car had to be to low to pull of the small stretched tires and with the condition of the roads I spent more time pothole scanning then enjoy my drive. I'd like to get some meaty tire to accompany the massive power boost (think 225/45/16). So now if I'm shopping to have some wheels custom built to my spec and wanted to get your guys input on build specs. I was leaning towards 16x8 et 20 to fit the larger tires but also be able to lower the car enough to achieve a healthy balance (full gc coils with camber plates). So basically if you could build your wheels to any spec with respect to having a proper tire, what would it be?

Not sure if they're coming with hubcentric rings or not...it's coming off of a corrado.

I've got some extra ones from esm..would those work?
If the rings were correct for the Corrado, they'll be correct for an E30. That's assuming a lot though.

You wouldn't even notice a stretch.

for now i'm running koni sport and IE3 w/ drop hats on late model. i might upgrade GC coilover soon. i have tires 205/45/16 never been mount on those rims.
Put the 16x8s up front and buy 2.5" lips for the 16x7s. Net result is a 16x8.5 +6 (awesome). 205/45s are perfect.

It'll be on stock 325i suspension and then on BC coilovers, opinions on both suspension setups would be the bee's knees. I'm be using the adapters temporarily while I assemble my 5-lug conversion parts.
Very aggressive. With enough rear arch massaging you can make it work.

Even with 195/45s you would need a massive rear fender pull. Not happening.
