FWIW, I actually enjoy Jay's youtube channel. There's a lot of cool stuff he knows about and he's really into a wide variety of cars and knows way more than most people (and certainly celebrities). But he's older and his taste in cars reflects that - maybe the E30, and BMWs in general, are just a blind spot.

I think you'll find he means that specific Triumph Herald is worth $100k - if you watched the segment through, it's the actual one from the Abbey Road album cover (parked on the left, past the bug!)

I still call foul. With all the people involved in the production of this segment, NO ONE is familiar with Hagerty price guides OR Bring-A-Trailer? It's a half-assed effort and really calls into question the validity of anything said on Leno's channel.
