As soon as I get the e21 out of the way; I will post about the h23. I saw that red m-tech very nice.
Anyone see the 88 m-3 the red one that looked like it was new:) I sure wish I would have kept mine:)

Id encourage the OGs who have had their cars forever to share some current pics, progress etc on their cars... that stuff helps

I check on here every week. Still have the e30 I bought from a member here.

I also went to the picnic this year, flew in from Florida. The Henna red MT1 was awesome.

Well, in a week I will post the 323i tribute thread. Hope I can get the pictures to work:)
How can we get more people interested in this forum; should we be doing some donations too?

still don't know how i managed to get mine for the price i got. buying the car itself is literally the cheapest thing i've done with it lol.

n00b. haha. If you didn't know - you can also set it so there are 40 posts per page instead of just 10 so you don't have to keep going to the next page every 2 seconds. "posts per page" here: https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/settings/account

If i thought back to those times and looked at people like us, i would think "you guys are rich"...

...just a lot of poor spending habits LOL. between the guns, the house, the 4 dogs, $3000 cat, the cars, stuff for the cars, brand new zero turn, etc.

Still here, still lurking, still looking for the time to work on the E30. Typical scenario - life, other cars, work getting in the way. I refuse to give up on the two I have knowing I won't get squat if I sell them and won't be able to afford them later to get back into 'em.

Haven't been to the E30 FB section. Reddit is going the way of FB for sure with all the ads and sponsored content BS.

it's more the car aged out and got too expensive at the same time. younger guys can't access them like they used to so the community surrounding the car aged with it. the same vibe still happens to some degree but has moved to other car platforms.

    You're right.

The formatting of a continuous thread there is trash, like facebook. Reddit arguably better- marginally.

The crowd on facebook seems to be better. It's been a while tho. I remember the e30 crowd on reddit being insufferable.

Toast is right too. The vibe got too serious/boring here and it's lame, to me.

I get people come here for information, but I remember being on here like it was instagram or some shit. It was a good time. Laughing, learning, getting shit on ect ect.

Yeah, but I don't want their app to view their "mature" content.

I think r3v should become the hive of scum and villany it used to be. It's there's one thing that draws a male crowd, it's a little T&A. Now that the audience is largely older, maybe married, it's probably twice as true.

But honey, it's just a car forum!

I have hope for forums tho. There doesn't seem to be a new social platform that will fill the void when facebook really tanks.
