I get even by just posting everything in the general forums- as much as I can get away with-
and ignoring the plethora of subforae. It's been a longstanding grouse of mine that
electrical questions should go in the 'audio and electronics' subforum where they immediately asphyxiate.
t
now, sometimes I just mess with people. It's more entertaining that way. george gravesComment

I'll try to post more in subforums than parts for sale / wanted. I also need to start a new build thread. If for nothing else than to keep myself motivated lol. R3v helped me plan before buying my e30 and then helped to start getting it sorted. It's going for body work hopefully in May and then I'll be all over these forums searching for why something isn't working.
I'm only on FB literally just for the e30 buy/sell groups, but they're mostly all ass. The r3v one is ok sometimes. The "tax" seems higher in those groups than on here anyway, even for dirty garbage parts.Comment

The issue, like said above- posting in the appropriate sub forum yields no replies.
posting everything in the slop general forum will get your thread seen, but at the cost of being an unorganized slop trough of a repositoryComment

Idk if this was for me or not but I'll just say, be the change you wanna see. It might not yield many, or any, replies but at least it won't be adding to the problem. I'd imagine the replies would be from r3v vets though, the ones who would check those subforums, and the info would therefore be "worth" receiving fewer replies. Quality over quantity lol👍 1Comment

This is how I am feeling after I got my project running and driving(updates on my project thread to come). All the little details of the valence, hood, fenders, lights, interior are my least favorite parts of working on cars. I also need to sort through all the bolts/nuts to find what I need to get it all back together. I did not do a good job with organizing those, like I had with the mechanical items. Not going to be fun.89' Build

The last 10% takes 90% of the time? Something along those lines. This is how I am feeling after I got my project running and driving(updates on my project thread to come). I feel like the best way to get traffic back to the forum is to make information easier to find. I do not use the book of faces, but from what I hear it is hard to find information there. So implement a better search and put stickies with the best information in every sub forum. Someone will always ask the same question that has been answered 1000 times but if they see a thread right at the top it may help.
I have been a member of this forum for decades, even before I had an E30. How often I visit goes up and down, but it's always the first place I check when I'm thinking about a mod.Comment
