You have a stock chip powering your stroker?Originally posted by SeanFor some reason - my stroker hit 110 and stayed there. I was just a tad disappointed to say the least. Hopefully a chip can make a difference there.Comment

I never tried the turbo car on the S2.91. With the S3.25 I hit 140mph without even noticing... and it could've kept going.Erick Mahle | FullOpp Drift | YouTube

Indeed I am. I'm pretty sure there's a lot of power left in my motor because of the stock I chip. But hey - as long as I don't run lean - I'm happy. it runs smooth and idles perfect. Using a chip will only open it up more! :)Originally posted by DigitalwaveYou have a stock chip powering your stroker?- Sean HayesComment

Really old thread, 2003, holy smokes.
I know of one E30 M3 with a 2.5 M50 that did past 7000rpm on flat-ground, which is over 160 with the trans/rearend he had.
My 318 hit a brick wall at 6800 in 5th on flat ground, the only time I went for max speed, which ended up ~158 if you discount tire slip at that speed.
