Pfft... He really "knows what he has." I don't think NA 944s are rare enough yet for that beat up turd to fetch $3k... And those wheels might be worth $1000 but not in that condition. When something looks bad in craigslist pics you know it is bad.

1983 Porsche 944 5-speed
Clean title, manual car
Perfect original seats, dash on Immaculate RARE Vintage BBS RA wheels
car currently does not start, needs a battery and a starter
111,XXX original documented miles
perfect car to flip with a tight budget, will make a great profit with less than 500$ invested into it, I had big plans to make this car my personal daily, but unfortunately my work schedule has gotten in the way and i don't have the time to give this beautiful car the attention it deserves. My loss is your gain
the set of BBS RA wheels alone is valued at over $1,000
Only serious buyers only please, I’m very busy and everyone keeps asking to see the car without talking money: $3000 or better offer will not consider anything under 2000 and I am not taking any kind of trade

new tires
Just replaced front disk, brake calipers, pads
rear drums, cylinders and shoes
Replaced Master brake cylinder
Replaced Brake Hoses
replaced water pump

if this car had a ZR1 engine and the new corvette suspension

If I only had $1800...

I selling my 1988 Toyota MR2, I Purchased the car ten years ago, this car is from Arizona. The body is in really good shape original paint, the reason I selling is because the engine is knocking and I don't have the money and the time to fix it is a great project car.
If this had been for sale when I was E30 shopping, I probably never would have bought an E30. AW11 MR2s were on my short list, I would really love to rebuild that little engine and shoot for 10lb/hp or better, or swap it.
