The Official 'Craigslist find' thread - awesome & awful (eBay, Kijiji, etc.)
I wonder why the bullet resistant windshield was replaced and when? When is more important, because it's awful that in less than 20 years the windshield delaminates to the point that it is not safe to drive at night.
The rear window looks delaminated. Most likely, the front armored windshield has been replaced due to delamination too.
He says a new armored windshield costs $15,000.
looks like the car is all there and in really good shape. as long as there isn't a hole through the side of the engine block, i would say its not too bad of a deal.
It's probably a bubble, honestly. The appreciation was much sharper than it was with muscle cars and such and E30 M3s are just not that rare. Economic effects of covid might even pop it prematurely, some collectors and flippers will lose a lot of money on them.
33k firm firm firm

Beautiful Cirrusblau metallic ‘88 cabrio in San Bruno, CA with hardtop and excellent interior. This is a great deal at $5900. Someone needs to go buy this car now!

I’m selling my beautiful 1988 325I . Vehicle is in very good condition.
it’s a California car no rust, original auto car, finished in Cirrusblau metallic with blue leather interior with sport seats.
Interior is in good shape with a crack free dash, all vin tags are in place.
Mechanically it’s very solid, new water pump, new timing belt, full tune up, complete engine reseal, new center support bearing and guibo,
hard top that’s worth at least 2k by it self
The car has 168k miles
It’s a clear title, one of the nicer E30’s on the market
I still have the original Purchase contract and window sticker
Quick release steering wheel and stancecrap are such odd bedfellows. Stance kids love to ruin any semblance of performance the car has by compromising traction and handling for a trite aesthetic, but they paradoxically also love racing mods like a quick release wheel and racing seats, not to mention the diffuser on this thing. At least the owner did this to a 328i instead of something more desirable.
NO LOWBALLERS, NOT DESPERATE OR IN HURRY TO SELL, TESTING WATER. Reason I’m even thinking of selling it is I might want to get back into riding dirt bikes and getting a truck. The car gets a ton of attention every where it goes. Everything works, don’t really have any cons about the car other than the wrap is like 3 years old. I got the roof rewrapped black in May and also the tint. Also just bought a NRG hub and quick release($300) with a Status racing carbon fiber steering wheel ($400) not installed yet. All the other mods are included in the pictures, please read them all. The car only has 86k miles, low miles and service records done by bmw dealership. Thanks for looking.
It's a shame that the windows are in such bad shape as an armored car without armored front and rear windows shouldn't be worth any more than a standard car of the same type, and is probably worth less.
