2500 for a sedan with rust on the sunroof, dead clear coat on the hood, hail damage, an autotragic and an interior that needs love with a busted odo. No clue on the service history, either. Come on, man. Are E30s going up in price that much?

For $35k don't you think they could take more than 3 pictures that are sideways?

I'm pretty sure it's an m30 with that Hartge cover. What class could you possibly race that car in? Larger engine than was originally in this car, 600+hp turbo, etc........? Presumably fiberglass quarter panels......sigpic

You're probably right, was thinking that the M30 cover was more rounded at the edges, and that is not so.
It's an unlimited/top class car, so it's really something to run for fun and nothing more. But I think that the way to run if you want to have fun and not focus on chasing 1/10s (not that that is bad).

Looks like a nice example of an ix despite the auto. Odd that it's so close to the regular E30 meet that I've never seen it.Comment

More E30 price jump goodness:
To sum it up:
$3,500 for a rusty straight piped 200k+ '85 318i with bad paint, a cold miss, cracked windshield, broken AC and inoperative speedometer. Spare motor, wiring harness and ecu though

Great guy. Solid car. I've driven it. He takes great care of his entire fleet of BMWs. Odd you haven't met him, most of the local group has at one point or another.

Ya, a real sham of a place. I used to live in the area before family man. It was closed and taken over a few times, run like a furniture store with its "going out of busisness grand opening sales".
I did laugh when he said the price as I mumbled a few things under my breath and hang up.
I was about to park the vert outside and move ACS parts over....Comment
