The C3 corvette wasn't bad, the 78,79 was imo the best two years for the C3 styling wise, that fast back window looked great. but it got ruined by the shovel nose in '80 though.

The Jaguar XJS, Jeeps, Blazers, Bronco's, trucks, were cool aswell.

yeah the mid 70's a bodys was kind of on the odd side (big bumpers), but imo the 73+ Duster looked better then the 73+ Darts. For me id perfer a 72 and back a-body. Although i'm kind of bias since i had two 70, two 71, and a 72 abody lol.

It is totally subjective. At work, I'll explain in vain WHY I would prefer to drive a 2002 or an E30. (when I COULD BE driving a new, way-high-up SUV or an anonymous soccer-mom-van??!!) Question answered. My opinion, not theirs. No rants, a very short conversation. --- They conclude that I am a kook.

yeah, I sort of regret selling mine. I didn't have the ability to do anything with it at the time, and didn't want it just sitting. then the dude I sold it to parked it in a field so it could rust to peices. @#%$&*(!

Not to mention all the beautiful Japanese cars of the late 70's, maybe it's just me but damn..

I'd love to have another 70 Dart. But a small block stroker with a 4 speed though.

The only thing I can contribute to this is that the older cars are easier to work on and they last alot longer as long as you maintain them. They are also bolted together with screws and bolts, not like the plastic clip together crap they have now. I work as a service advisor for a KIA dealership and all these new cars have plastic parts that just clip together. It's crap! I literally took off my hood, front grilles and headlight assys the other day on my e30 with a phillips screwdriver and a 10mm wrench. Everything was bolted on and was a dream to take apart and put together. They just don't build em like they used to.......

since I was 10 or so, ive been sketching design ideas for new cars. Designs that are reminiscent of older, beautiful and conservative style.
There is NO reason a car should look like this:

                              And also; MORE RWD, PLEEAASE!!!
