I'm pretty sure I have seen that no-reserve red M3 that sold a few days ago. I went to school up in Rohnert Park and saw him driving around a few times. Once I was on my bicycle and saw him at a red light with the windows down, so I pulled up next to him and said, "Nice car! I have a regular E30 and want one of these so badly!" He said back, "Keep it, they don't make them anymore!"

Someone is going to get a great E39 M5 in that carbon black car that's about to sell.

That's the awesome "Down to Earth" attitude I love about a lot of people in the community. Even if you have an M3, you can still appreciate any E30 because of the fact that their numbers are thinning out and they're all a great part of BMW history.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was just the carbon build up issue- if it is then who cares! From the looks of it he's done a lot of the pain points already. The MY2000 lights have really grown on me since I sold my M5, if I bought another one I think it would be a 2000.
