Bet my comment will get flagged as non-constructive on the 318is. Still think its crazy that there are all these low mileage e30's on BAT with crazy mileage gaps and odo gears are never discussed

Both of the mileage gaps on that car are insane. '95 to '09 driven 1700mi, then '09 to '21 only driven 271mi lol. Whoever acquired the vehicle in '21 100% found it with broken ODO gears, replaced them, and put mileage on it to make sure it appeared that the mileage moved. If it was in truly storage for 12yrs it's going to need a lot more than a plugs and a water pump, namely a full engine reseal, updated timing components, etc etc once someone starts driving it.

what i really want to know is, why does a 49k mile car, that supposedly presents itself "like a 49k mile car", need a complete repaint? that thing is hammered for the miles. what a piece of shit. my 140k car was nicer in so many ways... but all the armchair retards will eat that one up, like usual.
