It just shows how many of the know-it-alls that chime in on the comments and try to pick cars apart really don't know that much at all.

What does just about every knowledgeable E30s owner know...When it comes to M20s change your timing belt ever 4-5 years or don't be surprised or complain if it goes boom.

I hope the person who buys it today isn't planning on flying out and driving it across country.

            Definitely. That thing looks FAST.

Fast enough to not need lights or idle?

Somehow I have refrained from creating a BAT account. I think I am scared I will want to buy something.

11k for 325i w/ comfort sets, bottle caps, no A/C and immediate timing belt maintenance is pretty good!

I would have paid that much if I could have seen it in person beforehand.

Yes I sold it for $65k which was about the equivalent of selling at Gooding's for $75K but without all the hassle of transport, photography, etc.

The late models are certainly getting love and with 10k+ selling prices all the nice ones are coming out of the wood work

I think there is a large love difference in the later cars to the diving board cars.
The casual E30 lover will always gravitate to the later cars, they are just prettier.

I have owned both and the whole time I owned my very first E30 which was a 325es all I lusted for was a late E30 (or an E30M3).
