Looks like it's for sale again:

I have kopi's on my e30 as you can see in my signature and I like them. however, I don't have a $30,000 e30 either. in fact, the more I look at those photos, the more I shake my head.

that no reserve one from today is still relatively cheap...

My brother has one, a grey market one at at that, and Ive never really been impressed with it, but Ive only driven it on the street... likely the same way I would feel with a M3

Its funny to see the two right next to each other... high miles on both (140 vs 210) yet one is $42k and the other is under $10k

I know, I'd just want it to chase my buddy around on the track in his M3. Plus, I still think these are way undervalued considering the heritage and the Cosworth association. But then again - Cossie Vega's still haven't met expectations.

I have driven a US spec 167HP 2.3-16 and a euro 2.3 with 185HP and will tell you that they are great cars that are very well built but they are too heavy for that engine and they are running mechanical fuel injection. In fact, the entire car feels and smells like the 70's instead of the 80's. At least you can chip an M3 and get 215HP easily. I looked into them about 15 years ago when they were under the radar. I was contemplating picking one up but in the end, I just wasn't that into them and picked up another M3. Look at what each car is worth today.

Strange mileage discrepancies with that red one.

Yea he is. He had a 911 for sale earlier in the year that has planted a terrible seed in my head... he primarily sold 911s but it looks like he has switched to a better vehicle. :)

Does BaT ever do reserves? I have an 100k mile Alpineweiss 318iS that I am prepping for sale, and I am debating where I should list it.

Yes, they do reserves. From what I've heard they try to low ball you on the reserve.
