^ No problem. If you guys like sticking to your seats in 80 degree weather.. That's your business. The vast majority of buyers want AC. Period.

Edit: I forgot probably the #1 reason the cars must have AC to command highest dollar, regardless of residing locale. Most of the older guys here have a wife and kid(s). In order to enjoy one of the toys usually involves taking one of those things with you in the E30. Which means it better have AC.

If I’m driving an LS3 E30 Touring, the wife is probably never riding it. She’d say hell no. The dog doesn’t ride in the nice cars, she sheds too much.

Daughter loves riding in the Alpina and the R5 turbo with no AC.

But your mileage may vary..

yall that live up north, drive without AC, it's fine. But here, when it's 100 degrees out and it's humid...there is no way I'm not driving without AC. My e30 is my daily.

Couldn't have said it better. No AC would be a hard deal breaker.

AC has been required in all the places I've ever lived. Well, maybe not when I would live with my mom in the summer time. She used to live on the northern Oregon coast. That was nice.

Now I live in hell on earth.

It's a wagon with a full interior, not a stripped out track car. It will be worth more to more people with AC, period.

I lived without AC in my "toy" semi-recently. I was able to tolerate it for longer than others, but then age kicks in.:( This is subjective tho so kind of a moot argument. The real question is...what will someone pay/not pay for a enthusiast car, whether stock or modified, when the AC is deleted/innop? Just look at current 'for sale' cars and notice the price difference for people that go the extra mile and add ac to engine swap cars. You'll notice at least 4-5k difference in my experience, but this can also be attributed to people that are under the impression that a swapped car with AC has been put together better than one without.
