So who's buying a Lotus Evija?

Lotus just unveiled their newest model.
    Evija

I was ready to buy the 2013 Esprit but it never went into production. The Evija at $2 million means I'll have to wait a long, long time before it depreciates enough for me to be able to afford one.

Also.... will not be for sale in the US.

Seems like alot of moneys. I reckon i could buy a pretty cool helicopter for that, and have money left over to learn to fly it, and buy a house, with a helipad.

I would have to be a Billionaire to spend $2m on a car. And even then it would not be a new one it would be a classic.

It's electric? Boring. And apparently Lotus was bought out by the chinese? Great.

                I would if I could.

It doesn't really fall in line with Lotus' classic philosophy of how to build cars (1680kg!), but if they need to do something crazy to stay alive, I'd much rather they build 150 hypercars at $2m instead of 3000 $100k SUV's.

I agree, granted the weight is high, but in the EV world, its a pretty light car considering the power and range it offers...

                  I would if I could...

                  I will take a sub1000kg Elise though

                    Right?

I've accumulated a non-insignificant amount of investments over the years. But even if I wanted to blow a wad on a brand new car.... nope.
