ya'llllllll seem to do it this way...

either buy a pump/turkey baster type thing and fill and purge into the tranny. Or run a hose behind the motor underneath the firewall into the tranny tunnel to the fill hole. Use a funnel at your end of the hose, fill till done. Gonna try method two later today...

I bought a transfer pump from Harbor Freight Tools for $5.99. Worked perfect!

just get creative with a tube and a hose clamp, and squeeze the bottle, and the goo goes up the tube

                75W90 NS GL-5 Gear Oil

                * Designed for transmissions and transaxles - helps to slow synchros for easier shifting across a broad temperature range
                # Contains extreme pressure additives like our 75W90 GL-5 oil, but lacks friction modifiers to balance slipperiness
                # Improved copper corrosion protection to prolong synchro life
                # Helps with lock-up on weak limited-slip differentials-compatible with Red Line Limited Slip Friction Modifier for tuning slippage
                # Also used with clutch-type LSDs in racing for maximum lock up

                MTL 70W80 GL-4 Gear Oil

                * Popular in manual transmissions and transaxles like BMW (before 1993), Honda and Acura, Ford Focus, late-model Mini Cooper, Dodge & Jeep NV 1500, 3500, and 5600

Is that of concern for our diffs? Royal Purple has the friction modifiers I believe.

you want their regular 75w90, NS stands for the version without friction modifiers

So for my old tranny, 75w90 (Redline) will be good? Or that 70w80, like Jean mentioned eariler.

75w90 for the diffs, 70w80 for the transmission, although you can put 75w90NS in the transmission too.

I'm using redline "shock proof" in my transfercase. that shit is fucking nasty.

i do this but flip te bottle poke a hole in the bottle and shove a air gun(whatever you wanna call it) regulated at like 20psi then just watch the goo go in seeconds :)

also does the g240 use same stuff?

joe's sports was going out of business so i stocked up on some royal purple 5w30 motor oil and some how ended up with two atf oil(bottles look the same). Anyway since i have the oil will it be ok to put ATF in my tranny? I have a 91 g260 if that makes any difference. The answer is probably yes, but I just wanted to make sure it's legit
