oh and props on the ramp, most peoples day would've been over haha
I dialed in the f-stop, shutter speed, and iso and let me friend snap away. He got a few good ones, but I didn't feel like editing any more. But yeah! Let's do a shoot at the LA River soon. Ya?

I regret many things but not on this day. Thank you for your patience with me. It's always my cars that blow up on these runs.

I would highly recommend getting a little HF aluminum floor jack to keep in the car, totally worth the $80 or whatever it is. Plus it's small and pretty light.

If you want another 100hp I'd suggest a carbureted turbo kit for the 2002 ;D
I hear you on the jack. I have one but apparently I forgot to put it back in next to the spare tire. Abdu is a quick thinker and got me back on the road in under half hour. It was such a beautiful morning for a blow out!

I hear you on a blow-through carb turbo set up but I wouldn't trust one today, given the options currently available. Blow-through turbos were very primitive and you have to run the carb very rich since there is no computer to monitor/manipulate the timing or for detonation or for anything really. So you are basically always running rich, with no adjustibility, which isn't exactly a solution.

Thank you! We have all kinds of fun, but we're lazy to document our trips. That's 85% of the reason I invested in a good camera.

maybe this year I'll actually finish a car I can take down to bfest.

also, sucks about the wheel, but the car is looking real good. did you end up framing the lady's self portrait?

You might think this is indeed strange, but I had one photo framed and I found another fully framed photo of her and her family in the trunk, neatly packaged in a box. I've been meaning to send them to her, but I fear that too much time has passed and she'll think it creepy to receive photos of herself from a near-stranger.

        so idk.

The wheel is fixable. Not mad about it. But come down. I have some really wild plans for this year. If everything goes well, I should be able to increase the current stable to cars of a much higher caliber.

The name was definitely created in a fit of sarcasm, but at this point, I'm way too invested in it to change. I have to own it now. Also, I wasn't very bright at a young age. I used to wear tall tees in high school and have taco bell eating competitions and see who could go the longest without taking a shower.

                  Life was different at 16.

From a safety standpoint, you are absolutely right about it being dangerous. I will however say that for how technical this particular stretch of mountain road is, I've learned a lot about driving aggressively. Now that's not to say that this is ok, but it's how I learned. Next step is a race car and get into road racing. That will come this year.

But yes, very good time. Super fun.
