One of my favorite channels reviews stuff like this. Spoiler, Cerakote is recommended.

The Freeways in the LA (5 & 405 in particular) sustained some pretty crazy earthquakes which did cause a bit of those woops you're describing. I drive the 405 a LOT and I have to warn my family when they are coming up because even at 80mph in a Jeep it can scare the ladies... the particular interchange I highlighted, and the event in question occured near triple digit speeds (allegedly) but the hit was massive enough that Im sure we caught air... RIP BBS Reps

some 2k clear or headlight PPF (Maybe even more of a pain with curved headlights?).
Neither are fun to deal with. Maybe a ceramic coating would be easier, just not sure how well it holds up.

I'd be running 16s or 15s on LA roads. I ran 16s on my E30 here in FL and still managed to bend two of my XXRs. That was a piece of debris though, we do not get many pot holes or gigantic expansion joints in my part of the state.

If you guys knew how I drive this thing... its actually pretty amazing the wheels lasted as long as they did. Had I not just bought a bunch of tires going through this nonsense I likely would've had 17" wheels... but that has sailed.

Anyways, I also am ~93% sure I know when the driver front wheel cracked. This only matters if you live on the West Side of Los Angeles, but that lip is not something you want to hit at speed.. IYKYK
