If they say Nascar on them you KNOW they're good.

I will try to track down the name of the place I have gotten some stuff through. They are right by Bearings Inc and you can see it from I5, turn down the road Les Schwab is at.

There is a race shop at the end of the street behind the Les Schwabe in Burlington. I haven't been before, but there is a race shop there.

Going with the title of the thread, would it be cost effective to produce sways? I'll have access to a full machine shop, and I could make some pretty easily I think. What kind of steel would need to be used?

Sorry, its in Burlington. Found the name and its called Speedmart (360-757-4473), if they don't make that sort of stuff I am sure they will point you where to go.

full stiff up front, 2/3rds rear. the only time I change the fronts is when I'm driving on roads with chunks of ice everywhere.

it's commonly misunderstood how they affect the car; running them stiffer in the rear doesn't make for more oversteer - rebound mostly affects transitions (like slalom). compression isn't adjustable.

I always wonder if it would be possible to weld reinforcements onto stock ix sways to make them stiffer...

Cut some pieces like this to length and to the right angles then weld them on with in a logical fashion... I think it could be done.

I believe the heat from the welding would make the swaybar lose its strength

the rears are the same right? i was also thinking the front was an m3 one or something like that. ive herd people running just stiff springs and no sways, I may do that. i dunno.
