Australia seems to best be known for killer things http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wy_TB6onHVE we also do killer burnouts. This is probably the best burnout I've ever seen a Holden do. (skip to 0:45) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwtiUK4PqFI

This man, he knows, as evidenced by a recent pic taken in the wondrous cave of wonder (and beer).

I have successfully given myself penis cancer with a side of ebola by buying a "daily driver" that turned into a project car. Take one 1993 Subaru Legacy RS (turbo) wagon, pull it apart and then scream "shitfuckmonkeywaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles" quite a lot until it starts going back together.

This is the new daily, an Aussie-delivered Liberty RS wagon. Quite a unique car. What started as a tidy up now has custom front-mount, new exhaust, new wheels, WRX brakes, alarm cut out of it, ignitor removed from loom, MY01 coilpacks, custom parallel fuel rail set-up, VF23 turbo (with rotated compressor cover), catch can and all new oil breather lines, new intake, etc, etc...

I recently sent forth my stripped M52 to worlds beyond... and by that I mean Queensland. Don't be fooled by that name, dear readers, as there are no queens in Queensland (they hate poofs up there... poofs, technology and having their own teeth). Pretty much nothing is getting done on this shitbox until after I buy my girlfriend an engagement ring. Once that is out of the way, I'm pretty much free to spend the national debt getting this thing throwing skids like a motherlicker.

        Yes. Details. Now.

And thankyou waffleswaffleswaffleswaffles for leading me up the garden path with a similar case of spending money on a "daily driver" and not the race car :p

Mine legacy wag00n shall DRIVE out of the shed this weekend.

You'll love it once you take it for a drive. You'll love it like Lindsay Lohan loves it up the shitter.

As for Meat Flange, my mate selling his fucking immaculate 325iS had me itching to do something on the E30. So I think I'll start removing tar, making the new door cards and have a good look at the loom. Kinda should get the Liberty runnign first, but meh. Susan Sarandon can come and see me personally if she's got such a fucking problem with how I do business.

Oh and I keep looking at my desktop at work, which just so happens to be this pic

p.s. i know you are 100% correct regarding the liberty, the problem will be when i want to modify it and it ends up faster than the race car even post-boost

i love those first generation legacy wagons, ive had two. the second was a '94 turbo, which was a pretty rare car in the states.

wasn't up the spec of the ones you guys get there but it moved along pretty well and was a blast in the snow. :)
