You'll see when I get what I need to finish it. Yes, all of the fins and the BMW are coming off. But that's not all I'm doing.

Andrew is coming over tonight, and we're going to finish the welding in the engine bay, and get the rest of these damn little holes sealed up.

Finished the shave on the coil cover. Something much better looking will replace the raised fins and BMW lettering.

Andrew came over and we attempted again to finish the welds in the engine bay to complete the shave, and this time, we ran out of argon gas.

It will be something similar. Going to order what I need to finish it tomorrow.

Pulled the oil filter housing, alternator, and power steering pump, as well as the starter and the rest of the wiring harness today, and finished cleaning off the intake side of the block. Hoping to degrease it tomorrow, and possibly paint!

Got the block painted tonight, went with DupliColor cast iron, it's a dark silver, almost nogaro, and a little bit metallic. It looks really good, just kinda looks dirty in the pics. But it looks amazing in person.
